Strong by Zumba with Justyna Mikolajczyk

Charity Event – Outdoors Strong by Zumba (Phoenix Park, Dublin)

Last Monday, which was a Bank Holiday in Ireland, I had a chance to take part in a very special outdoors fitness event – Strong by Zumba – organised by one of the leading Zumba instructors in Dublin – Justyna Mikolajczyk.

We had full one hour of high-intensity workout called Strong by Zumba. If you’ve never heard of that before, please check this website HERE and do not be deceived by the name “Zumba” cause it has absolutely nothing to do with dancing. Instead you can expect tons of squats, push-ups, burpees, boxing, jumping, planks, ABS exercises and many more!!! To me this is a real killer workout! It will push you to your extreme limits. You’ll burn tons of calories and sweat litres of water, all to the rhythm of music which makes the whole workout a real fun.

We were so hyper and happy after Strong that we’ve decided to do a little bit of Zumba at the end. We had quite an audience in the park and some passers-by even decided to join us, which was fantastic! The whole event was a big success! We had a real blast! The weather was great and we’ve pumped our veins with joyful endorphines, coming back home totally wrecked but extremely happy. And we already have plans for more!!! I honestly can’t wait! A good cause and great fun

As I mentioned earlier this was a charity event. All money collected during this event Justyna decided to donate to help a little boy fight cancer. It’s his last chance for recovery and the treatment is extremely expensive, and the time is very short… We managed to collect €180! Every little help is greatly appreciated and remember that kindness and love has an amazing power to come back to you in many other ways. I believe I can also reach to kind hearted people through this simple blog article. I’m really counting on you here. Thank you on behalf of this little boy and his parents.

If you ever think like trying either Zumba or Strong by Zumba, I strongly recommend Justyna’s classes. She is passionately dedicated to what she’s doing, she gives all she’s got during her classes and she’s a demanding instructor, she will make you push your own limits to the point you could never have imagined before!       Oh yes, it was brilliant! Very tough but when you work out in a group you get that extra motivation and cross your own limits. xxx

    This looks like so much fun! But I’ve also learned…you’re not as coordinated or as groovy as you think you are when you do Zumba for the first time!! I

      Yes, that’s all true but in zumba it’s all about fun 🙂 and you need a few classes to get to know the basic steps, after that you just go with the flow and enjoy (even when making mistakes, nobody’s gonna judge anyone – and that’s what I love about it 🙂 )

    I haven’t tried zumba yet, but it seems like an awesome workout. So cool to mix workout with a charity event! Looks like a lot of fun! 🙂

      It is a tough workout in fact. Strong by Zumba is even more demanding 🙂 but it’s so much fun, especially that you can do it in the group. If you ever have a chance, try it! 😀
