Hi! This month I’m going to do something different than usual. I’ve decided to take part in Ell’s Fall Tag to let you know me a bit better, have some fun on my blog and perhaps inspire you a little this season.
Ell Duclos has been my inspiration during all my blogging journey. We started blogging at the same time and I’ve been walking quietly right next to her, watching her journey to success as a blogger. With passion and dedication she’s built an amazing community and turned blogging into her full time job within a year. She’s a perfect example that it’s worth to pursue your dreams. Thank you Ell, for creating this “Fall Tag” and for being such an inspiration for me!
What is “Fall Tag” and how does it work?
So Fall Tag is a list of fall-related questions which you’d be answering. You should simply create a new blog post of your own, tag back to my blog as the person who has tagged you and created this post. Then take the questions which I’m answering in this post and answer them by yourself in your own post. A the end of your post, tag five other bloggers and link to their blogs encouraging them to take part in this little fun game. They would then create their own posts and tag back to you and repeat the process.

1. What is one candle you MUST light every fall?
Fall reminds me of warm and cosy blankets and the smell of apples and spices, like this Mandarin, Cinnamon & Clove Candle from M&S or Sugared Cinnamon Apple from Yankee Candles. Here’s a few more to choose from:
2. When you think of fall, what does it remind you of?
I think I partly answered this question under point 1. It reminds me of cosy blankets and the smell of apples and spices, especially cinnamon. It also reminds me of the passing time, beautiful sunsets and lots of warm colours everywhere and long walks through the rustling leaves in the forest when I was a kid. I love those memories.
3. What is your all time favourite fall/Halloween movie?
Hmm… I don’t think I have one really. Or I can’t remember… I’m not a movie person and I don’t even have a TV, so I watch movies very occasionally. There doesn’t seem to have been anything significant that I could remember of from this particular season of the year.
4. What Halloween costume do you have in mind?
A cat (lol). Halloween reminds me of witches and black cats, and since I can’t picture myself as a witch, a cat woman sounds like the perfect outfit. Besides, I absolutely love cats so… there you go… a cat woman it is!
5. What is your favourite fall trend?
I love coats in warm fall colours, sweater dresses, scarves and ankle boots! This would be my perfect fall outfit.
Here’s a few ideas:

6. When you think of fall, what drink comes to mind?
Apple juice. Fall is the time of fresh apples and there’s always been a LOT of those in my house so it’s been filled with the smell of apples and cinnamon. We have apple compote and apple pies quite often (which is one cake I can NEVER resist).
7. What is your go to fall beauty product? A must have staple!
I don’t have any special fall product in mind tbh. I usually fall in love with a few beauty products and I use them all year long.
Here’s what I’ve been using for the last year or so:

8. Do you prefer apple pie or pumpkin pie?
APPLE PIE is my absolute favourite! It’s the reason I’m going to roll like a barrel by the end of this season if I don’t stick to my fitness plan…
9. Do you have any fall traditions? If so tell us all about it.
Yes we do. It’s more a holiday than a tradition though. I live in Poland and in the beginning of November we always visit graves of our family members where we light candles, leave flowers and pray. It’s a very unique time which has a very special meaning. I remember going to the cemetery late during the evening when it was already dark and it was all covered in lit candles. The view and the atmosphere is amazing though in truth it’s a time of sadness and reflection.
10. The moment of truth, is fall your favourite season?
I love fall especially for its beautiful colours and sunsets, however my favourite season has always been summer. I just love the heat, sunny days, warm nights, and the sound of waves and crickets chirping in the grass.
Hope you enjoyed this post. If you’d like to take part in this Tag feel free to do so and please tag me in your post.
