DNA anti-wrinkle concentrate

Intensive anti-wrinkle concentrate

Intensive anti-wrinkle concentrate is a brand new product released recently by Colway International, and I was very eager to try it myself.

Being a 38 year old mommy I feel that at this age my skin needs something more than only a face moisturiser. I was very curious what those little ampoules could do and how my skin would react to this intensive concentrate. Also I have to admit that I was quite worried if my skin wouldn’t rebel against this product, as it sometimes does when I treat her with something new.  Besides, this is indeed an “intensive” treatment which I always thought would be recommended for women at their 50’s rather than 30-40’s… so you know…

I did it!

Yes, I did test the whole package of 7 ampoules! One each day for 7 days right before bed time and I can honestly say that I loved it! My skin did not get any unwanted reaction, but instead, each morning it felt refreshed, revitalised and somewhat healthier and thicker! It’s hard to describe it really, but I could feel the difference in its condition. It felt as if it was firmer and softer when I was touching it, and the pigmentation seemed more even.

As for its anti-wrinkle properties, I had an impression that my forehead wrinkles were less visible but I can’t say much about that because I only have a few lines on my forehead, around my mouth and a few tiny ones around my eyes (the smile wrinkles). I was not expecting them to disappear magically, I know I’ve been working hard on getting them throughout all these years (lol) but the ones on the forehead did seem to be shallower, which is great! I will definitely use this product again.

DNA concentrate

Let’s have a look at this anti-wrinkle concentrate itself:

The package holds 7 x 3ml ampoules of high-molecular hyaluronic acid, natural Ecocert-approved Zemea® component, silk, copper peptide and DNA and RNA acids. It’s ideal for the care of dry, mature or tired complexion and it has strong anti-aging and anti-wrinkle effects. You need to break the top of the ampoule at it’s neck and empty the contents onto your hand, and then apply it onto your face, neck and cleavage. And there’s A LOT of that, I tell you! So don’t be afraid, it will definitely be enough for one application. It’s also good to massage it into your skin a little bit. Once the concentrate is absorbed, you can apply a suitable face cream.

One thing to bear in mind: be very careful when opening the ampoule. It’s safe, the neck of the ampoule is specifically pre-designed to break easily at its marked place. However because these little containers are made of glass (and I’m a naturally very cautious person), I recommend you break it through a piece of cloth or a paper tissue so that you wouldn’t accidentally cut your fingers.

DNA concentrate

What’s in it really? (active Ingredients):

Nucleic acids DNA + RNA (native)

These initiate skin structure replication, activate cells, and have a strong antioxidant effect, protecting cells against reactive oxygen species and filtering out toxins. They expand peripheral vessels and restore circulation patency, thereby oxygenating cells and improving metabolism of lipids.

Copper peptide GHK-Cu

Composed of a copper particle and amino acids such as glycine, L-histidine, and L-lysine. Copper peptide stimulates the functioning of stem cells. What’s more it also increases production of collagen in the skin, prevents photo-aging, improves elasticity and evens skin tone. It also helps reduce wrinkles, and increases the skin’s density and thickness.

Hyaluronic acid LMW

Has a highly moisturizing effect and helps fill wrinkles. Contributes in rebuilding damaged epidermis and creates a protective film on the skin to prevent moisture loss.  Hyaluronic acid also smoothes, firms and improves skin elasticity.

A luxurious ingredient that hydrates, smoothes and leaves the skin feeling soft to the touch. Silk is primarily composed of two proteins: fibroin (approx. 70%) and sericin (30%). Their chemical composition shares a great similarity to the protein in human skin and hair. Fibroin has the ability to bind and retain water without causing skin irritation, even in sensitive skin. Sericin (silk glue) is a protein that holds silk’s natural fibroin fibres together. It contains residues of serine, glycine, and aspartic acid. Sericin improves the epidermal barrier by reducing water loss through the skin, and is therefore considered a ‘natural skin moisturizer’. It creates a delicate layer on the skin’s surface, allowing the skin to breathe and making it feel velvety-smooth. Thanks to its structure and chemical composition, sericin can improve skin hydration. Furthermore, sericin also shows considerable smoothing properties, thereby reducing irregularities of the skin.

A plant glycol obtained from corn grains that provides great moisturisation. This very delicate, Ecocert-approved component is allergy-free, irritation-free, and has antibacterial properties.

Yes but you have to be careful with choosing products. Better to go with something very gentle and as natural as possible at first. I started my anti-aging treatment 5 years ago when I was 33 (it was a purely natural product) and I’m very happy with my choice because I kind of managed to stop the time 🙂

Love the packaging, I probably would have picked it up regardless of what it did because the clean and slick design caught my eye. Although glass probably makes it look and feel more high end, I would question how safe it is. I probably wouldn’t be great at opening it or bringing it on travels. However, it’s great that you have found a product that seemed to work for you!

You’re right and I also love the packaging. As for the safety in opening it, the neck of the ampoule is designed in a way that it should easily break, and it does. There’s no cracked glass or anything like it, but you need a little bit strength, that’s all. I am always extra cautious so I prefer to cover it in a tissue when opening it. Thank you for your comment. xxx

Well I have my own theory based on what I’ve been using so far and it’s true that yes, you need to try to find out. What I can say for sure is that creams are not as good as serums or other products with biologically active ingredients and if you expect lasting results you need to be patient and use them regularly. Also best results come when you act from both sides: externally and internally. It actually feels like a good topic for a blog article 🙂 Thank you for your comment. xxx
