Alternative Street Fashion Photoshoot

I think it’s time to share a bit more of my photography here on my blog, as I have a feeling that I’ve been neglecting this category a little. I’ve been planning to get back to photography for some time, but until last weekend I just couldn’t make myself do it. I guess that’s what happens when you surrender yourself to your passion too fast and to such an extend that it burns you out. At least that’s what I thought. However, I have not burnt out. What I needed was a tiny spark, a trigger, which would awaken it within me once again. And that’s what happened last week when a friend of mine came over with a ready outfit and we quickly organised a photoshoot for Sunday.

But that’s not what I’m going to talk about today. Those photos are still in the process of editing so I can’t publish them yet. I want to show you a different fashion photoshoot which we did in collaboration with the same designer and stylist as the one 3 days ago.

This photoshoot in an alternative street fashion style, took place in December 2016 in Dublin, Ireland.

Meet the Team:

Model: Domonique Cleary

Fashion design and styling: Arturas Gastiliuk (Arturus)

Photography and photo editing: me and my husband (Crystal Dot Photography)

Arturas Gastiliuk (Arturus) is a young fashion designer passionate about various fashion garments and styles. He is a close friend with Claire Garvey, who has been a huge inspiration to him and with whom he’s been collaborating on different art and fashion projects.

Now, let me show you a few of our photos:

Thank you. Yes, it’s definitely not an everyday outfit, but rather a designer’s alternative style vision. I’m glad you like it though.
