Summer holidays are getting closer and I have goals! So, yesterday was a rest day, after Tuesday Zumba class, and even though I felt very sleepy and rather short of energy, I wanted to do my workout anyway.
So today was a leg day. I’ve been too busy recently and I tend to go to the gym less often now, which I actually miss a lot…, so when I can’t go there, I try to do my best at home.
And here’s what I did (a total improvisation):
I finished that with:
- Lower body and ABS HIIT
- 10 min ABS workout.
- And of course a good cool down and stretching for splits.
So look! Here’s my home setup for squats 😀 (you gotta use what you have, when there’s no gym at home, right? 😉 It actually helps cause I can’t lift that weight and toss it over my head onto my shoulders….)
I couldn’t believe squats and walking lounges were so terribly hard today! I usually lift more, but my legs were just not listening to my head tonight. I think it’s the busy week and the lack of sleep and perhaps not enough regeneration after that deadly Zumba cardio …
Exercises with resistance band are actually quite new to me, but I already fell in love with them. I only have that constant worrying feeling when using that band, that it might break 😮 and this one is the hardest I have! I need a set of harder ones.
Anyways… I’m so happy I did it despite tiredness and low energy level! And I gave it all I had. That’s what counts, right? The feeling afterwards is always the best! Nite nite :*
